Antonio Lovell Campbell, age 43, of White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia passed away on Thursday, 30 May 2024 at Christiana Hospital in Newark, Delaware after a long battle with cancer.
Born in Ronceverte, West Virginia on 25 January 1981, he was the son of Maynard Campbell and Doris Ann (Childress) Campbell. Other survivors include his sister, Teresa Childress-Gilliam (Raphael) of Newark, DE, brother, Aaron Childress (Jodi) of Lewisburg, WV, brother, Terrence Wilson of Bear, DE, brother, Adrian Wilson of Bear, DE, sister, Shannon Campbell of Severn, MD, aunt, Carol Carter of White Sulphur Springs, WV, uncle, Lorenza Childress (Grace) of New Paltz, NY, uncle, Melvin Pittman of Brooklyn, NY, niece, Teyler Wilson of New Castle, DE, and a host
of cousins and friends.
Antonio loved music, gardening, reading and spending quality time with family and friends. As an educator, he shared a special bond with his cousin, Dedra Mattox of Burtonsville, MD, Jasmine Jones of Burtonsville, MD, and niece, Teyler Wilson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Antonio may be made to the Sarcoma Foundation of America (www.curesarcoma.org), 9899 Main Street, Suite 204, Damascus, MD 20872.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia.
