The family of Chester (Chet) Kaser of Ellendale, DE is saddened to announce his sudden passing on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at the age of 69. Chet passed away from cardiac arrest at Bayhealth Hospital, Sussex Campus with his family gathered close.
Chet was born on October 24, 1953 in Paterson, NJ
He has been a self employed general contractor for most of his adult life. Chet moved his family to Delaware in 1989 and went to work for a larger contractor in order to learn the ways of construction in Delaware and to meet the people in the industry here while still doing contracting on his own.
Chet was preceded in death by his Mom, Doris C. Kaser and his Dad, Chester Kaser Sr.
Survivors include his wife, Donna, of 46 years, his son, Adam Kaser (Colleen) of Ellendale, DE, his daughter, Nicole Holm (Leland) of Bridgeville, DE, his grandaughter, Ava Kaser of Ellendale, DE, his grandsons, Evan Holm and Conner Holm of Bridgeville, DE and his grandson, Harper Kaser of Milton, DE. He also leaves behind his faithful canine companion, "Roxy".
Chet's hobbies included racing Micro Sprints and GoKarts and reading the weekly racing newspaper, Area Auto Racing News.
