James Lee Leuze, "Jim," passed away peacefully on July 16, 2026, at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, Delaware, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 70 years old.
Born on December 2, 1955, in Wilmington, Delaware, Jim was the son of the late James Irwin Leuze and Edith Frances Leuze. Jim is survived by his devoted wife, Connie; his three children, Jaqueline, James, and Gabrielle; his sister, Linda Gester and his two beloved granddaughters, Leilah and Liora.
Jim dedicated 30 years of his life to working as an electrician, earning the respect of everyone who knew him for his skill, reliability, and strong work ethic. Outside of work, he enjoyed fishing, gardening, woodworking, collecting unique treasures, reading the fascinating magazines that arrived in the mail about all kinds of random subjects, and relaxing with his favorite television shows.
Jim was a man of many talents. He was gifted in carpentry, had a natural talent for drawing, and could fix just about anything. He had an incredible depth of knowledge on so many subjects. If you had a question, chances were Jim had an answer-or at least a fascinating story to go with it. His wonderful sense of humor, quiet wisdom, and willingness to lend a helping hand will be remembered by all who knew and loved him.
Above all, Jim was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. His greatest joy came from the time he spent with his family. Though he will be deeply missed, the love he shared, the lessons he taught, and the memories he created will remain in the hearts of those who loved him forever.
