Resided in Wilmington, DE
Josephine (Jo) Cappelle Hurlburt passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 12, 2018. Jo was born in Wilmington, DE. on July 29, 1945 to S. Paul Cappelle and Molly Cartolano Cappelle. Her family then moved to Wildwood, N.J. where she attended St. Ann’s Grade School and graduated from Wildwood Catholic High School. After high school, Jo entered the United States Air Force and proudly served her country as a communication operator while stationed in Germany. When she exited the Air Force, she moved to Idaho to begin her family. Later, she returned to Wilmington and worked as a medical transcriptionist until her retirement.
Jo’s love for books was apparent as she was always enjoying a good read. On her many trips to Utah to spend holidays and vacation time with her children and grandchildren, she would stop off in Vegas to meet up with family or friends. She loved to spend her summer vacation in Wildwood and enjoyed catching up with high school friends.
Jo is survived by her pride-and-joys: daughter Angelique Morrill; son-in-law Mike; son Anthony Hurlburt; daughter-in-law Kelli; her precious grandchildren Kareena and Foster Morrill; Ryan and Bryce Hurlburt, all residing in Utah; siblings Paul Cappelle, Luci Deputy, Fran Roposh, Frank Cappelle, and their spouses Nora, Ron, Charlie, and Jill; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Burial will be private and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
