Pamela Snyder Obituary

Pamela “Shay” Snyder, age 55, of Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with Glioblastoma, surrounded by the love of her family and dear friends.

Raised in the Kennett Square and Avondale area, Shay was a 1988 graduate of Kennett High School. After graduating, she relocated to the Newport/Wilmington area, where she became well-established, starting her own photography business, DiLorenzo Photography, that flourished and she became one of the most recognized wedding photographers in Delaware, as well as the surrounding area.

Shay is survived by her devoted husband, Greg Snyder, her beloved daughters, Kirstie Davis and Jayme DiLorenzo, as well as her grandchildren Wesley and Lucciano.

Shay is also survived by her mother, Judy, her sister Melissa, brother-in-law David of Ohio; her stepsons Justin, and girlfriend Chelsea; Brandon and wife Emily; stepdaughter, Brooke; grandbabies, Jaqueline and Cameron; as well as many nieces and nephews who cherished her deeply.

Shay was preceded in death by her former husband, Tommy DiLorenzo, and brother, Vincent Slingwine.

Her life was defined by her unwavering love for family, generous heart, willingness to always help others; as well as her resilience, kindness, and the deep, mutual adoration she shared with her devoted husband, Greg.

A celebration of Shay’s life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor, remember, and celebrate her.
