Thomas Ralph Miller, I, age 77, died in Seasons Hospice, Christiana, DE, on Monday, July 13, 2020. The cause of death was complications following a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia.
Born on March 16, 1943, in York, Pennsylvania, he lived in Rising Sun, MD, most of his life, spending the last 4 years in Newark, DE. He was a tour bus driver for Conestoga Tours and owner of TR’s Income Tax Accounting & Payroll, retiring in 2015. Thomas was a member of the Maryland Society of Accounting & Tax Professionals and a member of the Audubon Society.
Survivors include his wife, Hilda, and his 5 children, Sigrid (Douglas) Andrew of Hollidaysburg, PA, Thomas (Monica) Miller, II, of Newark, DE, Larry (Jennifer) Miller, of Elkton, MD, Wendell (Teresa) Miller, of Friendship, NY, and Leona Meixell, of Lincoln University, PA. He had 18 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Leona Miller.
A private graveside service will be held at Friends Cemetery in Calvert, MD.
